Welcome to my site. For a while now, not much had changed here, but that will be changing over the next year or so. I've been very active in painting lately, and preparing for an art show this summer. Those paintings, you will just have to wait to see. But I've decided to share one thing with you here as the works are completed, and that is my Travel Series.
What's that? Well, that's a series of paintings that will probably never end since traveling is a hobby of ours. It's something I just enjoy doing when we are traveling, and it's a way for me to take in the scenery and enjoy it more, just for me. You benefit from my enjoyment, because you can see what I see. This series uses ink and oil paints to show the setting and accentuate those things I desire to make more clear. On the other hand, those things that are still black and white, are somehow still accentuated. It's a play back and forth between color and black and white, something our eyes are doing all the time, but we are not so aware of it. All of the paintings in this series are started on location and then finished in my art studio. I do hope you enjoy them, and have decided to make them available in tote bags, collectable, coffee mugs and coasters. Some of the mugs are available in groups of four, all with the same design. You can keep them all for yourself, or trade with your friends, who are also collecting, and just have fun!
